Millenium Project
Commercial Fit Out – Helensvale
The Millennium Project goes beyond a standard commercial fit-out — it’s a complete transformation of space to better support the way the business operates.
Working within an existing shell, the brief was to reconfigure and refine the layout into something more functional, efficient, and aligned with day-to-day use. What began as a basic interior has been reshaped into a well-resolved environment that feels considered from front to back.
From early planning, the priority was getting the fundamentals right. Structural works, services, and layout were all coordinated to ensure the space performs as it should, not just on completion, but long term.
Rather than focusing purely on finishes, this project was about creating a practical, well-built space that works behind the scenes while still presenting clean and professional.
The end result reflects a straightforward approach — good planning, clear communication, and a consistent standard across every stage — delivering a space that’s ready to be used as intended.

Awarding Worthy Millenium Project
The Millennium Project is a reflection of a long-standing relationship — a client we’ve worked with across multiple builds, from his family home to a renovation for his in-laws, returning to create something just as considered for his business.
This time, the brief went beyond functionality. He wanted a space that matched the energy of what his business creates — something that didn’t feel routine or flat, but instead brought a sense of drive, creativity, and pride into the everyday. A place where work feels engaging, not just something you show up to.
The direction was clear: clean lines, high performance, and a refined finish, balanced with elements that bring a sense of enjoyment into the space. It needed to support productivity without feeling clinical — polished, but still full of life.
Every part of the fit-out was approached with that in mind. The layout was designed to streamline workflow, while the finishes and overall feel were elevated to reflect the standard the client holds across everything they do.
For Ronnie and Dean, it was about carrying that understanding of the client through into the build. The Millennium Project shows what can come from working with people who trust the process — creating a space that not only functions well, but genuinely feels good to be in.

Before & After
Increasing Land Value
Before the Millennium Project began, the space was split across two very different units — one that was dark, dated, and barely usable, and the other already occupied but cramped and under pressure. Neither supported the way the business had grown.
The brief quickly became more than a fit-out. It was about merging the two into one cohesive, high-functioning environment that could actually keep up.
To make that happen, we worked closely with a team of planning professionals — including fire services, electrical engineers, and town planners — ensuring the combined space was fully compliant, safe, and approved for its new use. This wasn’t just a design exercise; it required careful coordination to bring everything up to code across both tenancies.
From there, the transformation was substantial. The non-functional unit was stripped back and rebuilt, with new electrical throughout, while the mezzanine — previously approved for storage only — was upgraded into a fully usable level with ducted air-conditioning. The layout across both spaces was completely reworked to create flow, connection, and usability.
What was once two disconnected, inefficient units is now a unified workspace — open, functional, and built around how the team actually operates. With dedicated breakout zones for research and development, private offices, meeting rooms, and a full commercial kitchen, the space now supports both productivity and creativity without compromise.
The result is a complete shift — from cramped and underperforming to spacious, compliant, and purpose-built for growth.
