Chester Project

Luxury Renovation & Extension – Southport

The Chester Project is about more than bricks and mortar — it’s about vision, connection, and trust. From the very first meeting, Steve and Monique knew this would be a partnership built on authenticity and shared passion. Their dream was to create a home that opened up the layout, embraced natural light, and connected the pool at the front of the block with an entertaining area at the rear — a vision that called for both creativity and care.

Throughout the journey, the focus was always on collaboration. Every decision was made hand-in-hand, with Steve and Monique’s ideas guiding the transformation. The result is a home that flows effortlessly from inside to out, balancing openness and lifestyle while reflecting the heart and aspirations of the people who call it home.

Award Nominated Chester Project

The Chester Project is a showcase of how thoughtful design can transform the way a home is lived in. Guided by Steve and Monique’s vision, the traditional layout was opened up to create a light-filled plan that links the pool at the front of the block with an expansive entertaining area at the rear. The result is a residence designed around openness, lifestyle, and the natural flow of coastal living.

What made this project truly special was the partnership. As Steve reflected, “They really held our hands through the entire process… it was definitely a partnership.” Every choice — from redefined living zones to bespoke finishes — was shaped through collaboration, ensuring the home not only looks beautiful but feels deeply personal and intuitive to live in.

Before & After

From Closed-off to Connected

Before the Chester Project began, the home’s layout felt closed in and disconnected, limiting both functionality and lifestyle. Rooms were boxed off, circulation was awkward, and the connection between the indoors and outdoors was almost non-existent. To breathe new life into the property, the design was carefully reworked to open spaces, improve flow, and create a seamless link to outdoor living.

Throughout the transformation, every decision centred on enhancing openness and usability. Walls were removed to connect key living zones, natural light was maximised, and outdoor entertaining areas were integrated as an effortless extension of the interior. These thoughtful measures ensured the home’s new character isn’t just more functional, but truly reflective of modern coastal living.
